C'est \u00e9galement le seul moyen pour l'op\u00e9rateur de monter dans la cabine. L'op\u00e9rateur utilise des escaliers sp\u00e9cialement con\u00e7us entre les m\u00e2ts. Il existe des plates-formes de repos sur m\u00e2ts qui ont \u00e9t\u00e9 adapt\u00e9es conform\u00e9ment \u00e0 la norme CE. Les m\u00e2ts peuvent \u00eatre install\u00e9s \u00e0 n'importe quelle hauteur selon la conception o\u00f9 la grue \u00e0 tour est utilis\u00e9e. Chaque grue \u00e0 tour a une certaine hauteur autoportante.
